The Western Yaoi/Yuri Project was born with the intention of bringing Yaoi (see wikipedia) to the western context. And yes, that means western drawing style as well (Or mainly, if you wish), like Walt Disney, for example.

However, the project - as well as everything else in the world - have its pros and cons.

Pros:
-> The unjapanisation of... say... yaoi/yuri.
-> More people to be our public (especially those who are not fond of manga (easter drawing style))

Cons:
-> Most yaoi/yuri lovers are also manga lovers, so we don't know if we will have any public at all.
-> Society. But that applies to the whole genre.

1. Everyone may see our art, but if you want to contribute to our gallery, you MUST be a member of the WYP-Artists. More on joining us below.

2. There shall be no porn within our gallery. Erotism is ok, but pornography, especially child porn, is absolutely forbidden. This is the one and only rule that is not up to discussion. Because it has to do with every country's own law.

3. Our rules may change, but never under pressure. If you want to be nice and friendly to suggest us something interesting or new, please argue properly. Things like "U r A BunCH of F**n SodS! LAWL!!!!!!!!!11" will not be taken into consideration.

4. New rules may come. We will post them later.

1. As a WYP-Freelancer
-> You may send us an e-mail (mail.wyp@gmail.com) with your piece and the commentary, and of course, your name. Pieces without any commentary will not be posted. Needless to say the same about pieces without a name.
-> There must be NO ADS. You may not add any links to your own gallery (unless you fool us and redirect the viewer to a fake that you've created. It's your consciousness).

2. As a WYP-Artist
-> You must first watch us and send us a message (can be a note) warning us that you'd like to become a WYP-Artist. Wait for the moderators to do their job on verifying if you are suitable to be a member, and then wait for WYP to watch you. After that, you may send your piece, commentary and name to our e-mail (listed above).
-> You may put ads to your own gallery, if you want. But there must be, in your profile, visibly, a link to WYP. Otherwise, membership may be revocated.
-> Please, have patience about the day your work will be posted. We all have busy lives, right?

3. As a WYP-Staff
-> We're currently not accepting any staff member. But we will, soon. In the meantime, send us a note exposing your with to become a staff member.

4. As a WYP-Advertiser
-> Advertise.
-> KNOW WELL the place and people you show us to. We're very selective on our public and all... and we don't want any problems, of course ^^.
